Plenty of classes that suit my goals; I have a sense of fulfillment
I’ve liked traveling ever since I was a child, and I’ve always been particularly interested in overseas travel. My goal is to work for a Japanese travel agency. I’m pleased that Takushoku University has a lot of courses that are useful to me, such as International Business, Tourism Geography, and Hospitality, as well as courses like Hotel and Resort Development, where I can learn about the management of overnight lodging facilities. At the same time, I am able to learn about Japanese history and culture. I have a sense of fulfillment in knowing that I’m taking steps toward achieving my goals.

Appreciate Japanese-language study that is progressive, careful and deliberate
I decided to study abroad because of my appreciation for Japan and the Japanese language. My elder brother and my cousin both graduated from Takushoku University. It is hard to learn kanji (Chinese characters), but I was attracted to the Intensive Japanese Language Program for Overseas Students at Takushoku University because of its progressive, deliberate approach to teaching Japanese, and because it offers many different classes. Once my Japanese improves, I hope to go on to graduate school, where I plan to study mechanical engineering. In the future, I’d like to find work through which I can help connect Japan and Sri Lanka.
